life's been going great. it seems like everything is going my way. not that i'm complaining of course.

2. Found a job at last [hello to $$$, goodbye to being forever broke]

was supposed to start work on tuesday. in fact, i even went down to the office and waited for 45 minutes before i was finally told that there was some miscommunication and i was supposed to start work on next monday instead. what a joke man. oh well, it's not a bad thing though. i get to enjoy my freedom just that little bit more before it's all taken away from me.

called bell and coca yesterday because it was their khmer new year. talked to so many people: bell, channa, prek (morning star), sok meng, dalin and coca. it really made my day talking to all of them. what's more, when i called bell, all i did was say "hello bell" and he actually knew who i was and the surprise and happiness in his voice can be heard! definitely made my day! admittedly, i couldn't hold a conversation for long with most of them except bell and even that included awkward silences at times. i'm just seriously not used to talking on the phone. haven't talked on the phone for so long. anyway, the children were seriously cute because they kept saying no money in the background cause i called seriously long this time, like close to an hour. they also told bell he was wasting my money cause he talked so long to me. they're seriously sensible. but i said it was khmer new year so can talk longer! i'm seriously happy!
